SKWAD Pulse · Terms
Terms of service
EFFECTIVE 27 SEP 2026 · LAST UPDATED 8 OCT 2026
These terms govern the use of SKWAD Pulse. By signing in to or using Pulse, or opening a report shared from it, you agree to them.
1. Who provides Pulse
SKWAD Pulse (Pulse) is provided by SKWAD GG LLP, India (we, us) at skwad.ai.
2. What Pulse is
Pulse is an internal operations tool for live esports broadcasts. It shows live viewer counts, when chat monitoring is switched on, the aggregate mood and topics of public live chat, viewer-reported stream problems and possible unauthorised re-streams, and produces post-event reports for event organisers.
3. YouTube Terms of Service
Pulse uses YouTube API Services. By using Pulse you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube data shown in Pulse is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; Pulse is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube or Google.
4. Who may use Pulse
- Pulse is for our staff, crew and the event organisers we work with. Access is by a personal invite from an admin. Your login is yours alone: do not share your login or your invite link with anyone.
- Organisers get read-only access: they can view their events and reports but cannot change anything in Pulse.
- You must be at least 18 years old and use Pulse only for broadcast operations and reporting on events you are working on.
- Organisers who receive a share link may view the shared report and share it within their organisation.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Pulse or data from it to identify, profile, contact, target or harass individual viewers or chat participants;
- try to re-identify chat authors from hashed data;
- copy, scrape or export YouTube data from Pulse beyond the reports Pulse produces, or use it in breach of the YouTube Terms of Service or the YouTube API Services policies;
- attempt to access data of events or organisations you are not working on, or to bypass sign-in, rate limits or security controls;
- reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service.
6. Data and privacy
How Pulse handles personal data — including that chat authors are stored only as a one-way hash and raw chat text is deleted after 30 days — is described in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Reports and figures
Figures in Pulse are labelled by how they were obtained: Measured (as reported by YouTube), Modeled or Estimated (calculated by Pulse). Modeled and estimated figures, including chat mood and topics, are indications, not guarantees. Viewer counts depend on what YouTube reports and may be delayed or unavailable, for example when YouTube limits API access. Re-stream detections are proposals for a human to confirm.
8. Ownership
Pulse, its software and its design belong to us. Reports produced for an event may be used by that event's organiser. YouTube content and data remain subject to YouTube's and the content owners' rights.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue Pulse or any feature, and may suspend access that breaks these terms. Pulse is provided "as is" for operational use; to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use or unavailability.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Pulse after a change means you accept the updated terms.
